BIO

Small Town Artillery Collective is a six6-piece rock band who write and perform original live music that draws influences from The Boss to Billy Talent — that means a ton of energy, hard hitting riffs, and a lot of lyrics. They will leave you wanting more every time. The band is helmed by brothers Tom and Derek van Deursen who have been writing and performing music together for over 20 years. The band has carved their own corner of the Pacific Northwest towns and cities over the past 10 years. Between long-ranging tours and showcases at some of the region’s best-known festivals (Kaslo Jazz, Edge Of The World), they’ve played over 350 shows together.

FESTIVAL OPENING

Come down to stunning Rosemuir Farm for the launch of the 2026 Hornby Festival. This year the Festival opens from the Mainstage with a Traditional Indigenous Welcome with Elder Barbara Whyte (Billy).

“Small Town Artillery's yearning vocality is the weapon of choice on an album that is also remarked by brilliantly synthesized instrumentation and a prodigious sense of pacing” - Akademia Music Awards (LA)

“...hook-heavy melodies, infectious energy, and [a] timeless sound” that feels right at home in packed festival fields.” - Pacific Sound Radio (BC)
