BIO
The Foundation is back! The genre-defying collective led by multi-hyphenate Fredy V and longtime collaborator Mel Pacifico, return to the stage for a night of celebration with the release of their brand new album, No Tribe No I. Known for their undeniable stage presence and top-tier musicianship, Fredy V & The Foundation have earned a reputation for electrifying live sets that get audiences moving. The new album, No Tribe No I, showcases a fusion of R&B, funk, Afrobeats, and hip hop, setting a fresh benchmark for genre-blending and global collaborations.

After making waves in Washington DC, now Montreal-based Fredy V has built a reputation for his dynamic stage presence, vocal versatility, and collaborative spirit. His musical journey includes work with artists such as Aiza, Anomalie, Malika Tirolien, Snarky Puppy, Kool & The Gang, Roy Ayers and UK neo-soul pioneer Omar. Now united as a collaborative music collective with Mel Pacifico and a powerhouse team of musicians, this group has come together to form The Foundation.
Since their 2020 debut EP ONE STEP, Fredy V & The Foundation have evolved from backing band to production unit, crafting a vibrant catalogue that reflects the group’s diverse backgrounds and shared vision. Their collective experience spans national TV performances, collaborations with Canadian talents like Lou Phelps, Shay Lia, Zach Zoya, and Kallitechnis, and a growing presence in Canada’s emerging R&B and Afrobeats landscape. Their sound is global yet grounded, channeling the pulse of West Africa, Brazil, Canada and the U.S. through live instrumentation, groove- driven rhythms, and storytelling that speaks to the soul.

OPENING ACT - Polsen Moose

Polsen Moose is Denman Island's kid band composed of eight, 12 -to 17 year olds. They practice twice a week and have known each other their whole lives. Amongst all the silliness, they manage to put together tunes such as Life On Mars, Wish You Were Here, and You Can Call Me Al.
“Fredy V & The Foundation find freedom in groove . . . Together, they’re a force, equal parts flow and fire.” - EARMILK
